Help for the Craziness



So for those of us whose kids are still on Summer break I don't know if it's something in the air or what, but the natives are getting restless. Very, Very, restless... It's not just here either. Crazy kids in Ohio are using trash bin lids to ride down slides(Sorry, Tina). So the madness is spreading.

Here's my solution for the parents. Although, I can't eat much chocolate because of migraines, these are worth it. These are super quick and super good. But highly addictive. I found this recipe on recipezaar. I love recipezaar you can look up a recipe or ingredient and then click search by rating and it will give you the top rated recipes. YUM, YUM.



Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chip Pan Cookie

Ingredients

* 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
* 1 teaspoon baking soda
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1 cup butter, softened
* 3/4 cup granulated sugar
* 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 2 eggs
* 1 (12 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
* 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Directions

1.Preheat oven to 375 Grease a 9x13-inch pan.
2.Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl.
3.Beat butter, both sugars and vanilla in large mixer bowl.
4. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each.
5.Gradually beat flour mixture into butter mixture.
6. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
7. Spread into prepared pan.
8.Bake 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.


*Batter will be thick when you spread it in the pan. And they also may be a little gooey in the center even though they are done! You do NOT want to over bake them!! About 27 minutes for me.
