Matthew 11:28
"Come to me, all of you who are weary and loaded down with burdens, and I will give you rest.

This verse has always brought me so much peace!! Today more than ever I am at peace. Yes, I miss him!! But I KNOW that he is experiencing marvels I cannot even fathom. My goal is to reach others and to hear "Well done my good and faithful servant." I know I have a long way to go... But I am trying.

Congratulations to Natalie she is getting baptized today. She is Tina's daughter. Kind of neat that it is on the anniversary of Matthew's death. New life... Way to go girl!!!

Laura~This is Amy Ball. I saw Chris on Facebook and he shared your blog address with me! Laura, I am just sitting here, reading about your family, your faith and your struggles with tears just running down my face. I too have twin boys, mine are 5. The thought of going thru what you have gone thru and seeing and reading how you have managed to stay on top of the anger and rage,,,putting it all back to the Lord. It is such a testimony to the person that you are! What a blessing you must be to Chris and your kids! I know that Central Lutheran was a long time ago, but I still have to take a peek at your old house every time that I am home in Indiana, driving to see my mom at work in New Haven. I am so happy to see that you have found joy in the midst of so much heartache! Glad to see you, my friend! Thanks for the inspiration today...I need a good reminder of all the good that God has blessed me with after long days of wrestling, tantrums and drama....We live in New York now. My husband is in the Army, so we move alot. My boys are 5 and we have a little girl, Peyton Rae who reminds me so much of your Carly. They would be a dangerous pair together, I am afraid! Be well, Laura!
