Meet Miss Janessa

Meet Miss Janessa, isn't she just the precious! She is our Blessed Recipient at Baby be Blessed Dolls for the month of September. But due to a little prompting by the Lord we have started her "month" a little early.

Here is a little bit about who Janessa is and how she came to be our Blessed Recipient~

Our first little blessing came to me when I "happened" on to her aunt's blog page. I saw that beautiful, adorable little face and I knew that it probably was not by chance that I happened upon her. I knew that she was our first "Blessed Recipient". Her name is Janessa Joseph and she is 19 months old. She was diagnosed with Downs Syndrome at birth. Then at 18 months, she was also diagnosed with early childhood Leukemia. Janessa is receiving a special bunny that Tina made just for her! We hope that it will provide some comfort during her many Chemo and hospital visits. She is also receiving one of the 1st Baby be Blessed Tees. Please keep Janessa and her family in your prayers during this difficult time. Please visit her caringbridge page for more information on her and updates.

Janessa began chemo last Tuesday night and finished up Friday night. She will have to remain in the hospital until her blood counts return to normal. Janessa also has 4 siblings at home. In an email to Baby be Blessed Janessa's mom Julie spoke of how hard it is during these times... to watch your child, your baby go through something like this. I can't imagine... You can read more about Janessa at her Caringbridge page.

Please support Janessa and her family through Give a Blessing! 100% of the proceeds will go to help them! Please Go to Give A Blessing to help.

Acts 20:35
"In every way I showed you that by working hard like this we should help the weak and remember the words that the Lord Jesus himself said, It is more blessed to give than to receive."

Thanks So Much!
Laura
